In the 94th minute Arnaldo Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Didi de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Tinoco in the 96th minute of play. Itaju succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Carpeiro Paulinia F.C had controlled the match.
