Fantasma Futebol Clube's Yan Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Pires in the 24th minute of play. Rafael Messias hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Alberto de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauã Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mané Palmeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Macurure EC's goalkeeper Alberto de Lara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Célio Trigo. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alfredo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Alberto de Lara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Rafael Messias came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Fantasma Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Messias couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Genílson de Sena fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alberto de Lara, passed just outside the right post. Alfredo Carneiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfredo Carneiro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Alberto de Lara 89 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Fantasma Futebol Clube's Alfredo Carneiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto de Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cauã Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto de Lara having to interfere. Rafael Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Fantasma Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Macurure EC throughout the match.
