Eriberto Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Teles's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jacinto das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikings's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Velloso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28thth minute of the game João Carlos Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Titanium FC's Eriberto Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Noel Rossi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After the first half Vikings were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
