Faustão Abreu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Emerson Travassos sent off a good shot on target. After 55 played minutes Time do Povo got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Gaúcho. Magno de Alcântara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willian de Godoy's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Time do Povo's Willian de Godoy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magno de Alcântara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno de Alcântara having to interfere. The supporters of Nhangapi SC booed when Time do Povo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibúrcio Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Emerson Travassos could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Faustão Abreu however easily saved by the left post. Time do Povo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
