Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Perivaldo Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Duarte in the 52nd minute of play forced Guerreiros FC's goalkeeper Beto Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Trancoso took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beto Peres. Beto Peres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Perivaldo Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ferroviária's Erik Rosado got a free kick in the 96th minute.
