Caetano Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Hagberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kolob FC's zone, Geovânio Nogueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Valladares came out of the goal and Geovânio Nogueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Geovânio Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caio Costa Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovânio Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oswaldo Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Caetano Galvão made a huge save. Gabriel Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nando Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Kolob FC defense, Dinei Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Valladares. The Kolob FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Valladares should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute, Kolob FC's Luan Velasco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luan Velasco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kolob FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luan Velasco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Kolob FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luan Velasco hit a great ball. Mazinho Tróia missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 28 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gabriel Valladares right hand side. 30 minutes into the game, Geovânio Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gabriel Valladares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedrinho Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Nogueira in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Kolob FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geovânio Nogueira came free, but Gabriel Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Caio Costa Club's Nando Messias made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Lopez to make the kick off. Gabriel Valladares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovânio Nogueira in the 51st minute. A collision led to Kolob FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedrinho Machado hit a great ball. Dinei Torres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gabriel Valladares made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Messias in the 56th minute of play forced Kolob FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kolob FC's Gabriel Valladares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Kolob FC from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the game, Gil Velasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabriel Valladares. Gil Velasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. If Dinei Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kolob FC's Gabriel Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Messias in the 63rd minute of play. Pedrinho Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Galvão having to interfere. Oswaldo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caetano Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrinho Machado went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Kolob FC's Gabriel Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nando Messias in the 74th minute of play. Gabriel Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Teles in the 77th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Geovânio Nogueira took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Gabriel Valladares to make any attempt to save it. Gabriel Valladares made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Geovânio Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Kolob FC's Pedrinho Machado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Kolob FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Nando Messias scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Valladares, making the score, 1-7. After 89 played minutes Caio Costa Club got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Nogueira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Lopez in the 91st minute of play forced Caio Costa Club's goalkeeper Caetano Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nando Messias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Valladares. That made the score 1-8 in the 94 minute of play. When the match was over Caio Costa Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kolob FC throughout the match.
