Guerreiros FC's Perivaldo Aparecido got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ᴛɴ ғᴄ's Dida Ribeiro got a free kick in the 6th minute. Perivaldo Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Fontes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guerreiros FC's Osvaldinho Neiva got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Perivaldo Aparecido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerreiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ᴛɴ ғᴄ the free kick. Perivaldo Aparecido hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ᴛɴ ғᴄ's Dida Ribeiro got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 20th minute, Eusébio de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geovani Aguiar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beto Peres. Guerreiros FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Guerreiros FC booed when ᴛɴ ғᴄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perivaldo Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Fontes having to make a save. If Erik Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Guerreiros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Magalhães came free, but Beto Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elano Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Mateus Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

After having played for 54 minutes, Elano Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guerreiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elano Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perivaldo Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Fontes having to interfere. Perivaldo Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Aparecido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Perivaldo Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Perivaldo Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guerreiros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Aparecido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Fontes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldinho Neiva in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Fontes saved ᴛɴ ғᴄ from getting behind. When the final whistle went the supporters of ᴛɴ ғᴄ were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Guerreiros FC side.
