Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Novaes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Trancoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anderson Novaes came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Real Vitinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anderson Novaes couldn't finish the play. Beto Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Guimarães having to interfere. Beto Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Christian Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Paraense hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Anderson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Expressinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Vaz to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Trancoso having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Anderson Novaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mathias Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the game, Jânio Lucas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Expressinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Vitinho the free kick. In the 39th match minute, Expressinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Anderson Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Real Vitinho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Bezerra to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Real Vitinho got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Coutinho. When Expressinho's Beto Bezerra in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Vitinho's goalie prevented a goal. Álvaro Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Christian Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expressinho. After 65 played minutes, Expressinho's José Paulo Valadares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Guimarães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Expressinho reached it. In the 69th minute, Anderson Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Expressinho's Mathias Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Novaes in the 74th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Expressinho got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Lucas. Juvenal Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Trancoso having to interfere. When Álvaro Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Expressinho fans jumped to their feet. Real Vitinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
