FLADF's Germano Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Pena in the 64th minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, Medieval Football Club's Frederico Messias made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Germano Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Fábio Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medieval Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FLADF the free kick.
