Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonardo Pena took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vitinho Mendes came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gravediggers FC's Faustão Vale. But to his dismay, Faustão Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Albertinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Leonardo Pena struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Albertinho da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medieval Football Club. With a little luck, Medieval Football Club's Vitinho Mendes got control of the ball when Faustão Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faustão Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Frederico Messias hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Fábio Mendes hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Vitinho Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Vale in the 29th minute. Rony Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Mendes having to interfere. Faustão Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vitinho Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match Gláuber de Mendonça sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albertinho da Costa skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute Rony Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Faustão Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonardo Pena kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Albertinho da Costa. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. Frederico Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho da Costa having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Leonardo Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medieval Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frederico Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Gravediggers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Pena to maneuver through the defense. Albertinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Leonardo Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Geraldo da Silveira in the 89th minute really tested Albertinho da Costa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Albertinho da Costa was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Leonardo Pena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonardo Pena really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Medieval Football Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
