Moisés Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Viana in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião de Lima saved Franquinho FC from getting behind. José Augusto Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Guilherme Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th match minute, Franquinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Barros to maneuver through the defense. Luís Guilherme Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião de Lima having to interfere. DeadPool FC were furious when Tadeu Tepedino was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DeadPool FC! In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Franquinho FC. Magno Maranhense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving José Augusto Vander. 1-0. In the 36th minute, Duda Moreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Eduardo Koehler was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luís Guilherme Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sebastião de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Franquinho FC's zone, Alberto Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião de Lima came out of the goal and Alberto Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Bezerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastião de Lima having to make a save. Alfredão Barros hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luís Guilherme Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Urbano struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Sebastião de Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DeadPool FC. Luís Guilherme Vianas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Sebastião de Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Noel Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Nilmar Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DeadPool FC's protests and gave Nilmar Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DeadPool FC! DeadPool FC:s José Augusto Vander showed great skill when he stopped Magno Maranhense:s penalty. Luís Guilherme Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Augusto Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Dias in the 76th minute of play. Noel Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luís Guilherme Viana came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the DeadPool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Guilherme Viana couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes in the game, Luís Guilherme Viana fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebastião de Lima having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as DeadPool FC's Tomás Bezerra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastião de Lima. That made the score 1-1 after 87 minutes of play. Sebastião de Lima made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Luís Guilherme Viana sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the DeadPool FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
