Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Expressinho's Beto Bezerra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Germano Vargas was a little too slow when Beto Bezerra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Germano Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Bezerra in the 9th minute of the match. If Beto Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16thth minute of the game Jânio Lucas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FLADF's Germano Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silas Quadros hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Germano Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Bezerra in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, FLADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Álvaro Tinoco got free with Germano Vargas in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sandrinho Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 minutes, Jeremias Campidelis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FLADF and the Expressinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FLADF's Jeremias Campidelis got a free kick in the 38th minute. Álvaro Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Beto Bezerra tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Germano Vargas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Tinoco in the 52nd minute of play forced FLADF's goalkeeper Germano Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Eurico de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Expressinho booed when FLADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, FLADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Víktor Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Germano Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Tinoco in the 68th minute of play. Germano Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute Álvaro Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Germano Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Álvaro Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Expressinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Expressinho's Álvaro Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Vargas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. FLADF's Germano Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Tinoco in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the FLADF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Expressinho.
