Álvaro Furlan's late challenge caught a Gravediggers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Furlan helped the player get up and apologised. Álvaro Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gravediggers FC's zone, Ernesto Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho da Costa came out of the goal and Ernesto Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaká Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Queiroz in the 12th minute of the match. Maurinho Chaves's late challenge caught a Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurinho Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gravediggers FC! In the 16th minute there was a penalty for Verdão Paranaense F. C.. Washington de Amaral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albertinho da Costa. 1-0. Kaká Vides didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Vale went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Faustão Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute Faustão Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes of play, Gravediggers FC's Tiago Maciel made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 33 played minutes Gravediggers FC got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Chaves. Ernesto Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Mandrak in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albertinho da Costa saved Gravediggers FC from getting behind. Faustão Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Vides having to interfere. Faustão Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kaká Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s Samuca Sá got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Miguel Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Miguel Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gravediggers FC's Albertinho da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Mandrak in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Samuca Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Albertinho da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ernesto Koehler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s Kaká Vides got control of the ball when Faustão Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s Kaká Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Verdão Paranaense F. C. from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute Mathias Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaká Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Vale in the 81st minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Mathias Pena took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Kaká Vides to make any attempt to save it. Verdão Paranaense F. C.'s Kaká Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Verdão Paranaense F. C. from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Mathias Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaká Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Kaká Vides skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Faustão Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Vides having to interfere. After some careless play in the Verdão Paranaense F. C. defense, Faustão Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaká Vides. The Verdão Paranaense F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaká Vides should have stopped the shot. Albertinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gravediggers FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
