Gravediggers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustão Vale struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Germano Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gravediggers FC. After a defensive mix-up in Gravediggers FC's zone, Silas Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertinho da Costa came out of the goal and Silas Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rony Queiroz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. Gravediggers FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in FLADF's zone, Faustão Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano Vargas came out of the goal and Faustão Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FLADF were furious when Jeremias Campidelis was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of FLADF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gravediggers FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Germano Vargas, was totally fooled by Gravediggers FC's Samuel Carioca, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rony Queiroz succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. If Faustão Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustão Vale took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Vargas. Germano Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rony Queiroz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faustão Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Germano Vargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germano Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustão Vale in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Carioca in the 57th minute of play forced FLADF's goalkeeper Germano Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rony Queiroz in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rony Queiroz took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Vargas. Germano Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Vale in the 73rd minute of play forced FLADF's goalkeeper Germano Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Vale struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Germano Vargas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gravediggers FC. After a rather tough play, FLADF's Sandrinho Amaral got a free kick in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes FLADF got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Amaral. Germano Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Queiroz in the 79th minute of play. Germano Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Queiroz went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. FLADF's Germano Vargas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Queiroz in the 87th minute of play. Víktor Lucas's late challenge caught a Gravediggers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víktor Lucas helped the player get up and apologised. Víktor Lucas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Queiroz in the 91st minute of play forced FLADF's goalkeeper Germano Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, FLADF's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Queiroz came free, but Germano Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gravediggers FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
