Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rony Queiroz started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Gravediggers FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Pena. Anderson Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juvenal Dionísio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Albertinho da Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Novaes in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho da Costa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute Anderson Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Real Vitinho's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Queiroz came free, but Christian Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes, Gravediggers FC's Maurinho Chaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christian Guimarães came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gravediggers FC reached it. Narciso Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Albertinho da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play Gravediggers FC's Mathias Pena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 29 played minutes Gravediggers FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Pena. Albertinho da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. César do Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. With his leg Albertinho da Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Real Vitinho's Juvenal Dionísio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Gravediggers FC's Maurinho Chaves got a free kick in the 45th minute. Real Vitinho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Tasso in the 48th minute. The corner led Real Vitinho's Agnaldo Paraibano to fire away a dangerous shot which Albertinho da Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anderson Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Anderson Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gravediggers FC's Faustão Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Real Vitinho's goalkeeper Christian Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfredo de Azevedo. After 67 played minutes Real Vitinho got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Coutinho. After 72 minutes, César do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gravediggers FC and the Real Vitinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gravediggers FC! Albertinho da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Novaes's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Faustão Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Guimarães having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Rony Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Anderson Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Maciel during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Tiago Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anderson Novaes struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Albertinho da Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Vitinho. Albertinho da Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juvenal Dionísio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gravediggers FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
