In the 13th minute of the match Mané Mello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Augusto Vander skillfully saved the ball. João Pedro Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. José Augusto Vander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians. José Augusto Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Mello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for José Augusto Vander. DeadPool FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to DeadPool FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Tomás Bezerra hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Lúcio Bezerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DeadPool FC the free kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilmar Carvalho to make the kick off. When Jorge Rossi fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corinthians's protests and gave Jorge Rossi a yellow card for diving instead. Nilmar Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Messias having to interfere. Anísio Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tadeu Tepedino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Messias. Corinthians's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luís Guilherme Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Corinthians's zone, Nilmar Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Messias came out of the goal and Nilmar Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Viana in the 69th minute of play forced Corinthians's goalkeeper Cristiano Messias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Nilmar Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cristiano Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Luís Guilherme Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Nilmar Carvalho put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cristiano Messias. Cristiano Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Carvalho in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Messias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerônimo Prado hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Luís Guilherme Viana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
