After a defensive mix-up in Real Vitinho's zone, Frederico Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Guimarães came out of the goal and Frederico Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Dionísio couldn't finish the play. Anderson Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vitinho Mendes having to make a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anderson Novaes made a kick off. With a left leg Vitinho Mendes saved Medieval Football Club from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Real Vitinho's goalkeeper Christian Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Messias. Vitinho Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Dionísio in the 69th minute of play. Vitinho Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Vitinho's Christian Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Pena in the 77th minute of play. Frederico Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Christian Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes in the game, Leonardo Pena fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Christian Guimarães having to interfere. Frederico Messias took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Guimarães. Christian Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2.
