Nelsinho Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Urbano having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Dito Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Catolé FC's zone, Ediberto Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felippe Gaúcho came out of the goal and Ediberto Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Doni Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catolé FC's Felippe Gaúcho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69th play minutes Nelsinho Vieira shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Dito Urbano and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Joana EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. In the 96th minute Nelsinho Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
