Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Goiano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cido Paraense in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Koehler saved Canuma from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Canuma's Elivélton de Azevedo got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes, Jaime Zonta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canuma and the ASA NEGRA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cido Paraense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Gil Koehler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Renato Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Toscano having to interfere. Cido Paraenses short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Gil Koehler to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gil Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cido Paraense's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Anísio Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Felipe Goiano made a precise shot to the right of Cauã Toscano. ASA NEGRA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cido Paraense in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gil Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Canuma's Jaime Zonta got a free kick in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
