Vitinho Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 12 minutes of play, Jaudilandia FC's Bruninho Silveira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osmar Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitinho Nogueira got in the 17th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Paulo Renato Novaes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Vitinho Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caveira Taubate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitinho Nogueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Renato Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitinho Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Paulo Renato Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráuzio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Caveira Taubate FC booed when Jaudilandia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Inácio Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Lago in the 41st minute of the match. Vitinho Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vitinho Nogueira to strike the kick off in the second half. When Jaudilandia FC's Bruninho Silveira in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caveira Taubate FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jaudilandia FC's Paulo Renato Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Nogueira in the 54th minute of play. Mazinho Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mazinho Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mazinho Cosme hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Vitinho Nogueira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Renato Novaes, 1-1. Dino Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 77th play minutes Inácio Lago shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Osmar Varela and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Caveira Taubate FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Cipriano Veloso hit a great ball. Jaudilandia FC's José Castro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 81st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caveira Taubate FC. Inácio Lago struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Osmar Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaudilandia FC. Bruninho Silveira might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Osmar Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruninho Silveira ran back to his position shaking his head. Osmar Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Lago in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes Jaudilandia FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Marinho. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jaudilandia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caveira Taubate FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
