The referee gave Legião Games F.C a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luiz Fábio Britto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Targinos's André Luiz Porto. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Amorim got free with André Luiz Porto in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Legião Games F.C's Edinho Hoffmann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of André Luiz Porto. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Egídio Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legião Games F.C's Adelino de Mendonça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 3-2 became the score in the 35th minute when Egídio Hoffmann elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Telmo Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Targinos's protests and gave Telmo Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Targinos getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Telmo Vaz hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Legião Games F.C's Adelino de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Hoffmann in the 52nd minute of play. Raúl Figueiredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Adelino de Mendonça skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Sílvio Antunes fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legião Games F.C's protests and gave Sílvio Antunes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th minute, Sílvio Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Porto having to interfere. Egídio Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Adelino de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Targinos. During the 64th minute of the match Sílvio Antunes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sílvio Antunes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Targinos's André Luiz Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Quadros in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Raúl Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Targinos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Egídio Hoffmann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adelino de Mendonça was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Jailson Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raúl Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Egídio Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Targinos's Raúl Figueiredo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Maria Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. If Raúl Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Legião Games F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Targinos had controlled the match.
