Edvaldo Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vítor da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Simão Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rodrigo Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Vieira having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, Asa Sul FC's Simão Tande made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Vítor da Silveira to strike the kick off in the second half. João Vítor da Silveira scored 1-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Araújo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Gustavo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Gustavo Abreu struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rodrigo Vieira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asa Sul FC. In the 61st minute, Luiz Gustavo Abreu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Vieira. The goal made the score 1-2. Rodrigo Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Asa Sul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Proença came free, but Edvaldo Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diogo Proença took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvaldo Araújo. Edvaldo Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Luiz Gustavo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Vieira having to interfere. Edvaldo Araújo came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Torneiros EC's João Vítor da Silveira. But to his dismay, João Vítor da Silveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Luiz Gustavo Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvaldo Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Edvaldo Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Vasconcelos in the 93rd minute of the match. The Torneiros EC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
