In the 20th minute of the match, Osvaldo Varela got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vinícius Borges was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Paulinho Matorin might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexsandro Albuquerque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulinho Matorin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nilton Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, É osguri's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Matorin came free, but Alexsandro Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliézer Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vinícius Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinícius Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo de Sousa in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Ronaldo de Sousa made the kick off in the second half. When Osvaldo Varela came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the É osguri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Varela couldn't finish the play. Eliézer Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eliézer Mendonça took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinícius Borges. Vinícius Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Eliézer Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marsal getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rodriguinho Ramalho hit a great ball. Vinícius Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Varela in the 79th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Varela in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinícius Borges saved Marsal from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Mendonça in the 82nd minute of play forced Marsal's goalkeeper Vinícius Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Vidal scored 5-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vinícius Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo de Sousa in the 91st minute of play forced Marsal's goalkeeper Vinícius Borges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Marsal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. É osguri's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronaldo de Sousa in the 94th minute. Ronaldo de Sousa made a great header on É osguri's corner, it was just that Marsal's Vinícius Borges managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th match minute, Marsal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Guedes to maneuver through the defense. É osguri's Ronaldo de Sousa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marsal. When the referee ended the match the É osguri players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
