The audience was convinced that Ronaldo de Sousa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Vieira was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th match minute, Torneiros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Rodrigo Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliézer Mendonça went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in É osguri's zone, Giovanni Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexsandro Albuquerque came out of the goal and Giovanni Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. É osguri's Alexsandro Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vítor da Silveira in the 27th minute of play. Rodrigo Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliézer Mendonça in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo de Sousa in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Vieira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Jonas Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the É osguri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Vidal couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Vieira made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Eliézer Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the game, Torneiros EC's João Vítor da Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexsandro Albuquerque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Ronaldo de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Adriano Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torneiros EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave É osguri the free kick. Adriano Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Diogo Proença made a precise shot to the right of Alexsandro Albuquerque. É osguri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giovanni Quirino in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Albuquerque saved É osguri from getting behind. With his leg Rodrigo Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when É osguri's Osvaldo Varela fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Varela got free with Rodrigo Vieira in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Osvaldo Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Torneiros EC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Vieira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Varela. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Arósio during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of É osguri booed when Torneiros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. É osguri's Alexsandro Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Vasconcelos in the 96th minute of play. Giovanni Quirino got in the 98th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Alexsandro Albuquerque handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. É osguri played a much better game than Torneiros EC and deserved their victory. The Torneiros EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
