Paru FC's Diego Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Salgado in the 3rd minute of play. Diego Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo de Souza in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th match minute, Paru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. Diego Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Brito went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Diego Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Maurício Romero notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Paru FC's Diego Tande. Diego Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tony Brito sped through Paru FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Tande. In the 21st minute, Chico Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Campidelis made a great header on Irece's corner, it was just that Paru FC's Diego Tande managed to reach the ball for a save. Diego Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Brito in the 26th minute of play. Diego Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo de Souza in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Perivaldo de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Diego Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Diego Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Salgado in the 34th minute of the match. Gernando Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Queiroz having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Trancoso was the one to do the kick off. Diego Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Hugo Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Diego Tande made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Murilo Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gernando Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paru FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caetano Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the match, Paru FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Brito came free, but Diego Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Tande made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Maurício Romero sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Edmundo Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Irece defense, Gernando Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caetano Queiroz. The Irece fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caetano Queiroz should have stopped the shot. Cícero Batista's late challenge caught a Paru FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cícero Batista helped the player get up and apologised. 77 minutes into the game, Tony Brito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Tande. Tony Brito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. In the 83rd minute Gernando Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paru FC's Diego Tande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Paru FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Hugo Salgado could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Diego Tande however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Irece left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paru FC.
