The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Frank Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Josué Tavares. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Soeiro got free with Nilton Sergipano in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ondina FC booed when Upá Porks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilton Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Ceresso in the 20th minute of the match. Ondina FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilton Sergipano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emerson Ceresso was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Cristóvão Xavier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Upá Porks and the Ondina FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Upá Porks got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Xavier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Xavier in the 62nd minute of play forced Ondina FC's goalkeeper Josué Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Vítor de Salles during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Ondina FC's Josué Tavares got control of the ball when Luiz Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rodolfo Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Ondina FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
