After 22 played minutes Princesa Sport Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Pinho. In the 24th match minute, Rera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro de Sena to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Remo Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ian Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ian Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remo Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ian Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Diniz in the 34th minute of play. Ian Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Aparecido in the 39th minute of the match. Ian Fernandez came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Rera's Marcinho Aparecido. But to his dismay, Marcinho Aparecido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Marcinho Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Diniz made a kick off. Marcinho Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ian Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rera. Ian Fernandez came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Rera's Remo Diniz. Princesa Sport Clube's Ian Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Princesa Sport Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 73rdth minute of the game Remo Diniz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Princesa Sport Clube's Ian Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remo Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ian Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remo Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Diniz in the 81st minute of play forced Princesa Sport Clube's goalkeeper Ian Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Princesa Sport Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Diniz came free, but Ian Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rera would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
