Clemente Falcão's late challenge caught a Princesa Sport Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Falcão helped the player get up and apologised. Diego Tande made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Mané Borges sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Princesa Sport Clube's Diego Tande threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christiano França, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 76 minutes into the match, Princesa Sport Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Trancoso came free, but Ian Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
