The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Rodolfo Soeiro made a precise shot to the right of Diego Tande. Paru FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Emerson Ceresso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Tande. Emerson Ceresso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Rodolfo Soeiro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ondina FC's goalkeeper Josué Tavares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilian Mendes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Paru FC's Diego Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Ceresso in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Diego Tande successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 26 played minutes Paru FC got a freekick which was hit by Chico Favoretto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luizão Garcia during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the game, one of Paru FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gernando Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cipriano Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chico Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Josué Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Tavares having to interfere. If Chico Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Ceresso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Paru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Falcão to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ondina FC booed when Paru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ondina FC's Emerson Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Ceresso in the 65th minute of play forced Paru FC's goalkeeper Diego Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Soeiro notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Paru FC's Diego Tande. Diego Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Tande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Soeiro went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, Chico Favoretto notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ondina FC's Josué Tavares. Josué Tavares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Ceresso in the 81st minute of play forced Paru FC's goalkeeper Diego Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paru FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ondina FC.
