With a left leg Maicon Arósio saved Real Kyuu from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho da Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maicon Arósio. Real Kyuu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho da Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Esporte Clube Guaxinim's Abelardo Cavalcante dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 17th minute of the match Orlando Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo José Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Maicon Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Rauen in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Abelardo Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Frederik Rauen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maicon Arósio, 3-0. Esporte Clube Guaxinim's Flávio da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Cavalcante to strike the kick off in the second half. Maicon Arósio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. If Frederik Rauen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Rodriguinho da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Maicon Arósio. Real Kyuu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Maicon Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Cavalcante in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Frederik Rauen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Abelardo Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Esporte Clube Guaxinim were the better team. Esporte Clube Guaxinim's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
