The Real Kyuu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Real Kyuu's Sílvio Luís Barreto got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Leandro Castro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Real Kyuu's Maicon Arósio didn't even have to move. Sílvio Luís Barreto got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kyuu's zone, Christiano França stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maicon Arósio came out of the goal and Christiano França tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilvan Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Fernandez having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Princesa Sport Clube got a freekick which was hit by Christiano França. Gilvan Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Real Kyuu booed when Princesa Sport Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Princesa Sport Clube's goalkeeper Ian Fernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilvan Donatello. If Gilvan Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ediberto Cearense struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ian Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Kyuu. Christiano França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gilvan Lucas hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Maicon Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Gilvan Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christiano França to make the kick off. Gilvan Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilvan Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maicon Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mané Borges took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maicon Arósio. Maicon Arósio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ediberto Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mané Borges came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Princesa Sport Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Borges couldn't finish the play. Ian Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
