After 23 played minutes, Patcha FC's Zé Pedro de Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilton Sergipano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Patcha FC reached it. 25 minutes into the match, Patcha FC's Waldemar Dionísio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilton Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Patcha FC's Naldo Mendes got control of the ball when Victor Paes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldemar Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Patcha FC's Léo Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilton Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nilton Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Dionísio in the 46th minute of play. If Waldemar Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Paes to make the kick off. Victor Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naldo Mendes having to interfere. In the 57th minute Waldemar Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patcha FC's Waldemar Dionísio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Upá Porks's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Dionísio came free, but Nilton Sergipano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Dionísio's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes, Patcha FC's Zé Pedro de Queirós shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nilton Sergipano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Zé Pedro de Queirós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilton Sergipano. Upá Porks's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Léo Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nilton Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro de Queirós took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nilton Sergipano. In the 86th minute of the match Zé Pedro de Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilton Sergipano skillfully saved the ball. Nilton Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léo Gomes in the 88th minute of play. Nilton Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldemar Dionísio in the 89th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Léo Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Patcha FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Upá Porks.
