Spectators: 7345 (Terracing: 5511, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Adriano Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Picada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Gaspar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Suico's Jonas Paraense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulão Novaes. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Toninho Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Falcão having to interfere. If Toninho Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Cauan Meirelles in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Picada's Carlos Augusto de Carvalho. Carlos Augusto de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Toninho Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Aílton Félix kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulão Novaes. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Toninho Arruda made the kick off in the second half. Cauan Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Falcão having to interfere. In the 58th minute Luciano Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Suico's Ademar Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Cordeiro in the 60th minute of play. Ademar Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Picada's Toninho Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Pedro Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Picada's Luciano Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cauan Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ademar Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Suico's Sérgio Linhares got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Toninho Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suico's Ademar Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th match minute, Picada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Arruda to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aílton Félix during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Picada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zé Pedro Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute Luciano Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademar Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráusio Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Picada's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Picada may have spent more time on the ball, but Suico were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
