Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gernando Marinho kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Estrellas's zone, Luciano Donato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson do Nascimento came out of the goal and Luciano Donato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Picada booed when Estrellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toninho Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Picada got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto de Carvalho. After 17 played minutes Estrellas got a freekick which was hit by Guto da Silveira. In the 24th minute, Toninho Arruda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emerson do Nascimento, passed just outside the right post. In the 27th minute Gernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulão Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulão Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson da Rocha in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Estrellas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Toninho Arruda fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Estrellas's Guto da Silveira got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Jeferson da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luciano Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Picada's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Lopez came free, but Paulão Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson do Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Toninho Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Emerson do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Donato struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Emerson do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picada. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toninho Arruda to make the kick off. Emerson do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson do Nascimento having to interfere. Picada's Zé Pedro Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Toninho Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emerson do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Arruda in the 68th minute of the match. Luciano Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson do Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Toninho Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 76 minutes into the game, Jeferson da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrellas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picada the free kick. After 76 played minutes Estrellas got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson da Rocha. If Zé Pedro Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Ezequiel Toscano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulão Novaes. The goal made the score 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Cordeiro in the 89th minute of play forced Estrellas's goalkeeper Emerson do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dráusio Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Toninho Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Picada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
