Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camilo Guillerme started the match with the kick off. Camilo Guillerme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Bittencourt having to make a save. Alberto Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonello Fagnani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Frederico Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico Bittencourt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camilo Guillerme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. After 17 played minutes Furia Tricolor got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Linares. When Camilo Guillerme fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CORINTHIANS-DF's protests and gave Camilo Guillerme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Camilo Guillerme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fernando Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bill Phasey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes, Furia Tricolor 's Hermínio Furlan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bill Phasey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Furia Tricolor reached it. Frederico Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Fagnani in the 37th minute of play. Antonello Fagnani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alberto Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Furia Tricolor booed when CORINTHIANS-DF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fernando Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Phasey having to interfere. Antonello Fagnani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho Moura's late challenge caught a CORINTHIANS-DF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizinho Moura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Furia Tricolor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho Moura to maneuver through the defense. Antonello Fagnani struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Frederico Bittencourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CORINTHIANS-DF. In the 72nd minute Alberto Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Phasey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonello Fagnani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agnaldo Dante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Bittencourt having to make a save. Antonello Fagnani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Frederico Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Antonello Fagnani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonello Fagnani in the 88th minute of the match. Frederico Bittencourt came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by CORINTHIANS-DF's Antonello Fagnani. But to his dismay, Antonello Fagnani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Bill Phasey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fernando Breckenfeld in the 95th minute. Luiz Fernando Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Phasey having to interfere. CORINTHIANS-DF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
