Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CORINTHIANS-DF's Camilo Guillerme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Os Trezes's Régis Marinho pulled a muscle in his leg after 3 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Preda during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes CORINTHIANS-DF got a freekick which was hit by Costică Preda. If Afonsinho Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Phasey having to interfere. Os Trezes's Téo Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Antonello Fagnani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CORINTHIANS-DF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Os Trezes the free kick. After 17 played minutes CORINTHIANS-DF got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Fagnani. In the 18th minute, Adhemar Velloso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CORINTHIANS-DF's Bill Phasey didn't even have to move. In the 19th minute Antonello Fagnani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CORINTHIANS-DF's Bill Phasey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Barreto in the 27th minute of play. João Carlos Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in CORINTHIANS-DF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Adhemar Velloso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Emerson Pereira came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by CORINTHIANS-DF's Antonello Fagnani. But to his dismay, Antonello Fagnani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Antonello Fagnani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Pereira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Téo Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bill Phasey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Téo Barreto to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, CORINTHIANS-DF's Antonello Fagnani made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emerson Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Guillerme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Antonello Fagnani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Fagnani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Pereira having to interfere. When Antonello Fagnani came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the CORINTHIANS-DF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Fagnani couldn't finish the play. Téo Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Bill Phasey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonello Fagnani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Camilo Guillerme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Téo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Phasey having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Antonello Fagnani managed to get in a good position for a shot. CORINTHIANS-DF's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonello Fagnani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Os Trezes's goalkeeper Emerson Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Agnaldo Dante's late challenge caught a Os Trezes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agnaldo Dante helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Os Trezes booed when CORINTHIANS-DF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes CORINTHIANS-DF got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Guillerme. 96 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS-DF's goalkeeper Bill Phasey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Téo Barreto. CORINTHIANS-DF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
