If Claudinei Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinei Saraiva in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélio Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hélio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonas Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Salles in the 20th minute of the match. If Didi Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marajazinho getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cléber Abreu hit a great ball. Alfredão Pernambucano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Hélio Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 32 played minutes, Marajazinho's Cléber Abreu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Coelho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marajazinho reached it. If Patrick Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Didi Salles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonas Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei Saraiva to make the kick off. Jonas Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Arantes in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Alfredão Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredão Pernambucano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélio Silva having to make a save. A collision led to Marajazinho getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ronaldo Terra hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Marajazinho's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Saraiva came free, but Hélio Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Patrick Arantes rounded Fito FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. After 70 played minutes Marajazinho got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Abreu. Dino Capixaba was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfredão Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Silva having to interfere. Hélio Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredão Pernambucano went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jonas Coelho came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Marajazinho's Patrick Arantes. But to his dismay, Patrick Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 92 played minutes Marajazinho got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Arantes. Fito FC's Jonas Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Arantes in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marajazinho eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
