The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto Sampaio to strike the kick off in the second half. Vitinho Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. In the 87th minute of the match Manuel Lago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guilherme de Queiroz skillfully saved the ball. In the 89th match minute, Olinto AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Donatello to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Olinto AD's zone, Beto Sampaio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guilherme de Queiroz came out of the goal and Beto Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitinho Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guilherme de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vitinho Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. If Afonso Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olinto AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
