The crowd rose to their feet as Hílton Mangueira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wesley Alvarenga. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Cido de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Moraes in the 9th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Montenegro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cido de Alcântara saved Ayres 07 F.C from getting behind. The Ayres 07 F.C fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Ayres 07 F.C's Hílton Mangueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ramiro Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cido de Alcântara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido de Alcântara having to interfere. Wesley Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Mangueira in the 29th minute of the match. When César Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Chelsea Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Barreto couldn't finish the play. Léo Braga's late challenge caught a Chelsea Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Braga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ayres 07 F.C's Léo Braga got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Montenegro in the 41st minute of play forced Ayres 07 F.C's goalkeeper Cido de Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ayres 07 F.C getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Túlio Sanches hit a great ball. Alexsandro Gaúcho hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Júlio Baptista might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cido de Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd match minute, Chelsea Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute of the match Paulo José Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Alvarenga skillfully saved the ball. Wesley Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, one of Ayres 07 F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 60 minutes, Chelsea Fc's Júlio Baptista got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cido de Alcântara. Ramiro Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cido de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes of play Ayres 07 F.C's Léo Braga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 68th match minute, Ayres 07 F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Braga to maneuver through the defense. Percy Marques's late challenge caught a Chelsea Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Percy Marques helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chelsea Fc booed when Ayres 07 F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramiro Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ramiro Montenegro put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cido de Alcântara. Ramiro Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cido de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea Fc. Chelsea Fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
