When Afonso Koehler came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Olinto AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Koehler couldn't finish the play. Guilherme de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hélio Silva was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonso Koehler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 37 played minutes Olinto AD got a freekick which was hit by Edu Teles. Olinto AD's Dé Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marajazinho's Hélio Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Koehler in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Afonso Koehler was the one to do the kick off. The Olinto AD fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Olinto AD's Afonso Koehler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Afonso Koehler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Hélio Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 73rd play minutes Afonso Koehler shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Hélio Silva and just under the crossbar into goal. When Dé Brodel came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Olinto AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Brodel couldn't finish the play. Cícero Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Didi Salles made a precise shot to the right of Guilherme de Queiroz. Olinto AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Ronaldo Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Hélio Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Olinto AD were the better team. Olinto AD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
