Danilo Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ediberto Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Vergílio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos das Neves in the 24th minute of play forced Itapoama FC's goalkeeper Danilo Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Paulão Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 37 Não é Febre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antônio Carlos das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 Não é Febre's Paulão Alcântara suffered a concussion in the 45th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 45 minutes into the game, Pedro Augusto Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapoama FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 37 Não é Febre the free kick. In the 45th minute, one of Itapoama FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Itapoama FC.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos das Neves made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Ediberto Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Carlos Eduardo Vergílio made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Antônio Carlos das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. 37 Não é Febre's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos das Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Ediberto Soeiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Eduardo Vergílio. Ediberto Soeiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Danilo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos das Neves in the 89th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Vergílio didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 98th minute, Antônio Carlos das Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 37 Não é Febre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.
