In the 2nd match minute, Itapoama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Abreu to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the match, Itapoama FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Garcia came free, but Danilo Eger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Castro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Júlio Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Wesley Alvarenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chelsea Fc's Wesley Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediberto Soeiro in the 27th minute of play. Cristian Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Danilo Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Itapoama FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Cristian Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th match minute, Itapoama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Garcia in the 40th minute of play. César Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Eger having to interfere. Danilo Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Jonas Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ediberto Soeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Itapoama FC's Dieguinho Leme got a free kick in the 51st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Itapoama FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chelsea Fc:s goal. In the 61st minute, Ramiro Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ramiro Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Chelsea Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Ramiro Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Eger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Cristian Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Ediberto Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Júlio Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Eger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Chelsea Fc's Ramiro Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Itapoama FC's zone, Hernani Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Eger came out of the goal and Hernani Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldo Garcia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Danilo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Breckenfeld in the 93rd minute of the match. When Ramiro Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chelsea Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Montenegro couldn't finish the play.
