In the 4th minute Elivélton Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bahia MZ Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Sotil Abraldez hit a great ball. Natã Neto made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Aloísio Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. Bahia MZ Futebol Clube were furious when Régis Mineiro was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 8 minutes into the game, one of Bahia MZ Futebol Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Germano de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Esteban Reno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahia MZ Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guirapa SC the free kick. Esteban Reno hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Edvaldo Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Fernandão Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Quadros having to interfere. With a little luck, Bahia MZ Futebol Clube's Natã Neto got control of the ball when Aloísio Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aloísio Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton Andrade struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Natã Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guirapa SC. Guirapa SC's Elivélton Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cláudio da Rocha's late challenge caught a Guirapa SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Guirapa SC booed when Bahia MZ Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Andrade made a kick off. Natã Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloísio Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fernandão Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Evaristo Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahia MZ Futebol Clube. Natã Neto came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Guirapa SC's Erasmo Trevisan. But to his dismay, Erasmo Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Zeca de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Fernandão Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bahia MZ Futebol Clube's Natã Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Andrade in the 88th minute of play. If Elivélton Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Victor Seco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guirapa SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahia MZ Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 90th minute, Victor Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natã Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Natã Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Guirapa SC had won after a very even match.
