Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) 3 minutes into the game, Guirapa SC's Elivélton Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Hermes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Morellato FC's Cássio Sá got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guirapa SC's goalkeeper Evaristo Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Elivélton Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Percy Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Luís Fernando Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Morellato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Andrade came free, but Percy Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Morellato FC booed when Guirapa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Luís Fernando Paraibano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Evaristo Quadros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Morellato FC's Vânderson Bueno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vânderson Bueno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Morellato FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vânderson Bueno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Morellato FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guirapa SC:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elivélton Andrade in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Elivélton Andrade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guirapa SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elivélton Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Morellato FC's Percy Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Morellato FC from getting a goal against them. Percy Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Andrade in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Percy Hermes managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Guirapa SC's Aloísio Soeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aloísio Soeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Percy Hermes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes into the match, Aloísio Soeiro notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Morellato FC's Percy Hermes. Percy Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elivélton Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Percy Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elivélton Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Hermes having to make a save. Aloísio Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Percy Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Guirapa SC's Elivélton Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Percy Hermes. That made the score 1-6 after 93 minutes of play.
