Breno Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to MINAÇU F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luiz Eduardo Mello hit a great ball. Juan Senna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Morellato FC's Breno Antunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kaká Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Victor Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Morellato FC's zone, Victor Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Hermes came out of the goal and Victor Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luís Fernando Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Morellato FC's Zé Pedro Furtado got a free kick in the 90th minute. Luiz Gustavo Luz, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Morellato FC's Zé Pedro Furtado got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
