Spectators: 7261 (Terracing: 5447, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cássio Carneiro kicked off to start the match. João Francisco de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute, José Pedro Mattos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Romao's Jano Saraiva didn't even have to move. Jano Saraiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genílson Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Romao's Jano Saraiva got control of the ball when Gil da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Bruscão da Massa's Gil da Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jano Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A hard shot 13 in the game by Gil da Costa from a close distance when the talented Jano Saraiva managed to make a qualified save. Romao's players were relieved. Jano Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Genílson Mazza's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Gil da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jano Saraiva having to interfere. If Tiago Gabriel Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Romao's zone, Genílson Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jano Saraiva came out of the goal and Genílson Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Gil da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Genílson Mazza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

After a defensive mix-up in Bruscão da Massa's zone, João Francisco de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Dornak came out of the goal and João Francisco de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiago Gabriel Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Gert Dornak made a huge save. In the 60thth minute of the game Genílson Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romao's Jano Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jano Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil da Costa's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Genílson Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruscão da Massa's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jano Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, Bruscão da Massa's Gil da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jano Saraiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Mazza in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jano Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Mazza in the 90th minute of play forced Romao's goalkeeper Jano Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jano Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Romao players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bruscão da Massa.
