Charles Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Natal F.C.'s Silvinho Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Real Natal F.C.'s Horácio de Brito got control of the ball when Adrianinho Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Silvinho Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Vergílio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Christian Messias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horácio de Brito came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Messias slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Figueiredo in the 39th minute of play forced Uruacu's goalkeeper Alexandre de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Fonseca's late challenge caught a Real Natal F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. Enrique Fonseca hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Messias made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Real Natal F.C.'s Silvinho Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute Charles Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Real Natal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Vaz came free, but Horácio de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alexandre de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Natal F.C.'s Horácio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Messias in the 62nd minute of play. Alexandre de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charles Figueiredo's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Adrianinho Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio de Brito having to interfere. Oswaldo Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Horácio de Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Messias went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Christian Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Uruacu's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Figueiredo came free, but Alexandre de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Alexandre de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Charles Figueiredo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexandre de Queiroz, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Real Natal F.C.'s Paulo Sergipano got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Uruacu could leave the field as winners, despite Real Natal F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
