Wanderson de Senna came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Dona Denise's Fausto Esteves. But to his dismay, Fausto Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Wanderson de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Nogueira in the 16th minute of play. Petersen FC - FSCMZ's Wanderson de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Paes in the 17th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Kléberson Paes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson de Senna. Petersen FC - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléberson Paes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 31 minutes into the game, Cristóvão Lira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Wanderson de Senna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristóvão Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kléberson Paes took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wanderson de Senna. Wanderson de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Wanderson de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Petersen FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Paes came free, but Wanderson de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Paes in the 41st minute of play forced Petersen FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Wanderson de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelsinho Dantas's late challenge caught a Dona Denise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. 46 minutes into the match, Petersen FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Paes came free, but Wanderson de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristóvão Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cristóvão Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petersen FC - FSCMZ's Wanderson de Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Samuca Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Petersen FC - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Paes came free, but Wanderson de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristóvão Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dona Denise's Cristóvão Lira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wanderson de Senna. That made the score 0-9 after 94 minutes of play. Dona Denise's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
