In the 12th minute, one of Borrachos F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borrachos F.C.. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Oliveira. Pedro Paranaense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicolas Eger. 0-2. Oliveira's Elder Moreno proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Oliveira from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Oliveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betinho Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nicolas Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Oliveira's Mick Schumacher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Eger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Mineiro in the 35th minute of play forced Borrachos F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicolas Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mick Schumacher took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Eger. Nicolas Eger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A collision led to Oliveira getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jeferson Recife hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jefferson Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borrachos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Moreno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Germano Ribeiro made a kick off. When Ezequiel Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borrachos F.C.'s protests and gave Ezequiel Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. Oliveira made a substitution. Adhemar Secco replaced Juninho Pimenta. In the 53rd minute, Ezequiel Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Moreno's late challenge caught a Oliveira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cafu Moreno helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes Borrachos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cafu Moreno. The supporters of Oliveira booed when Borrachos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th match minute, Borrachos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Donatello to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute of the match Pedro Paranaense sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Eger skillfully saved the ball. Adhemar Secco in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicolas Eger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Mick Schumacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borrachos F.C.'s Jefferson Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
