With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horácio de Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 25 played minutes Real Natal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Breckenfeld. Sandrinho Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37thth minute of the game Pedrinho Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Natal F.C.'s Horácio de Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Natal F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fordlandia the free kick. A collision led to Real Natal F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fordlandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Esteves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 played minutes Real Natal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo Breckenfeld. In the 77th minute of the match Wanderson Vaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sandrinho Martins skillfully saved the ball. Renatinho Vergílio kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Real Natal F.C.'s Horácio de Brito got control of the ball when Antônio Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line.
